I am originally from Geneva, Switzerland where I did my high-school and general education in a French and English bilingual environment. I then moved to Lausanne where I attended the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL) for two semesters in Microengineering, School of Engineering (STI). Realising this was not the right choice for me, I moved to Lugano to start a bachelor in Informatics at the University of Lugano. I am now almost half-way through it and cannot wait to start my master.
Besides my studies I am also passionate about bird watching, which I started as a kid. This has lead me to become a volonteer for Pro Nata the oldest organisation for nature conservation. I worked mostly at the natural center of "La Pointe-à -la-Bise" where I contributed in bird census, evaluating the currenct condition of the avian population and the general state of the fauna and flora. As well as welcoming visitors and other bird watchers, providing divers explaination related to the bird population and their various behaviors, as well as the rest of the wildlife and showing matters of interest.
In addition I also enjoy scuba diving. I became a certified diver in July 2010. I loved it so much that I am now a certified PADI Assistant Instructor (ISO 24802-1:2007 - Instructor of Level 1) with over 100 dives logged and experience in assisting other intructors, teaching students and beginer divers, and planing & leading dives on my own.
This is a short video presentation of the Università della Svizzera Italiana where I am currently study. This video was made three years ago. And for the most watchful, you might notice me in it as this was made when I first came to visit the University.
